We selected six people who had a chance to trial the best choice Day Lotion for thier skin condition, along with Cleanser and Toner, for a complete Dr. Hauschka routine for a 28 day trial, which is a skin cell cycle.

A delight for my senses
“I have used Dr. Hauschka products on and off for years, and I always end up coming back to it. I’ve had a pretty challenging year so far and my skin is showing it - very dry skin, extra dry patches, redness, pimples, perioral dermatitis... and even though I was already using several Dr. Hauschka products, I did get lured by the shiny lights of some ‘quick fix’ chemist products to try and help clear up all of the above mentioned in record time. But none of them worked, of course. I recommitted to using just Dr. Hauschka products whilst testing the Revitalising Day Lotion. I used the Cleansing Cream in the morning followed by the Facial Toner and then the Revitalising Day Lotion.
I have previously used the Rose Day Cream and love how rich and thick it is and how long lasting the moisture is, so I was actually a little concerned that the thinness of the Revitalising Day Lotion would not be enough for my bone dry skin... but I was wrong. Firstly, the smell of this lotion is divine (like all the products in the Dr. Hauschka range) and the consistency means it glides on and sinks in to the skin. It is bliss! I really enjoyed applying it each morning and genuinely feel that it provides enough hydration for an entire day. After a few days I noticed that the redness I had around my nose was starting to settle and my skin just felt softer and more nourished. Over the next few weeks the dry patches also subsided and the dermatitis has also almost cleared up. By day 28, I am nearly pimple free and have a much more even complexion which seems to be a lot more radiant than a month ago.
I had a lot of problem areas so it was probably quite a challenge for the Revitalising Day Lotion to be able to fix them all, but I think it did tremendously well. I really have to say that using the Dr. Hauschka products creates a beautiful, peaceful and nurturing routine to start and end the day. I love the ritual of using the compress to soften my skin and then to take the time to roll the Cleansing Cream around my face in the morning... such a joyous way to start the day! The products feel amazing and the smell is such a delight to my senses. I really, really, really enjoy the whole process of taking time to care for my skin.... and I will definitely be purchasing the Revitalising Day Lotion from now on!”

“This was my first time using Dr. Hauschka products and their Revitalising Day Lotion has quickly become my favourite moisturiser. I have (had!) a very dry and dehydrated skin and this Lotion makes my skin look fabulous. It feels like an instant layer of nourishment on your face. Even though the Lotion contains lots of natural oils it’s not greasy at all, it sinks in straight away and gives you a healthy glow, feels and smells divine and makes my skin very happy indeed.
Another bonus - after using this cream for a month, I have noticed that my pigment spots on the forehead and cheeks got a bit lighter which is nice.
I would also like to mention that you only need a small amount despite the thin and runny texture so it lasts a while (for those who's concerned about the price). I used it as recommended with Cleansing Cream first, followed by Facial Toner and then the Lotion and probably it is a part of success too.
I would definitely re-purchase again and also try other Dr. Hauschka products for hair and body. I’m hooked.”

Exactly what I need
“My skin: I have oily, combination skin which is prone to breakouts, either food related or hormonal. I usually get acne in the same places every month. Since using this, my skin has vastly improved due to a reduced amount of oil. Usually I will have congestion, causing small bumps just beneath the surface of my skin. This usually occurs in the T-zone, my forehead, nose and chin, as well as my cheeks. At the end of any day my face normally has a decent amount of oil, especially during the warmer months and after wearing sunscreen.
My thoughts: The pump mechanism of the new Dr. Hauschka Balancing Day Lotion is fantastic! It is quick and easy to use, and less messy and more hygienic than a tub or squeeze tube. The ability to lock the pump by twisting it is fantastic, making it more hygienic and ensuring the product is kept fresher for longer. I absolutely love the fresh citrusy scent! I find it invigorating and exactly what I need to wake me to start the day, or a boost at any time of the day that I use it.
The texture of the Balancing Day Lotion is perfect for my oily, combination skin. I find that thicker products, especially creams, are far more likely to clog my pores. I personally dislike the feeling of heavier products sitting on my skin, unless they absorb almost instantly. This lotion is silky smooth and glides across the skin beautifully, especially when used with the Clarifying Toner. It absorbs quickly leaving the skin feeling soft and hydrated, without any feeling of stickiness or greasiness. I did not experience any sort of irritation, even when my hormonal spots were at their worst when I first started using this (and the Dr. Hauschka Cleansing Cream and Dr. Hauschka Clarifying Toner). It does a fantastic job of controlling my sebum during the day without causing dryness of my skin.
I wear sunscreen any time I venture outside and due to my combination skin which includes dry patches, I need to use something suitably hydrating to stop my skin being more noticeably flaky. Finding a product that doesn’t add to the oil can be tricky enough, let alone a sunscreen that isn’t already oily. I have managed to find a sunscreen I like, that’s not too matte and not oily, but still I will have oil by the end of the day. This new Balancing Day Lotion has made the oil slick that inhabits my face a thing of the past. I am very impressed with how much my oiliness has reduced. I also absolutely love the fresh citrusy scent! I find it invigorating and exactly what I need to wake me to start the day, or even give me a mental boost if using later in the day as I like to refresh before going out.
In Conclusion: This Dr. Hauschka Balancing Day Lotion is the perfect product for me to use daily either underneath my sunscreen or on its own if I’m not leaving the house. It smells fresh and invigorating, the texture is just right and it absorbs quickly without leaving any sort of sticky or greasy residue. The pump mechanism makes it very easy to use and the ability to lock it makes it even more hygienic. It really reduces the amount of oil on my face, and therefore amount of shine. I had the best results using it with the Cleansing Cream and Clarifying Toner, but any cleanser that deep cleanses will suffice. I definitely recommend that anyone with combination and/or oily skin should try this new Balancing Day Lotion.”

“I received new Soothing Day Lotion, together with Facial Toner and Cleansing Cream. I suffer from rosacea. My skin tends to be dry and I have broken capillaries, redness and red bumps all over my cheeks.
My first impression upon opening the products is how lovely they smell. It's a very clean, herbal and very beautiful fragrance. It makes the whole experience feels like very relaxing self care ritual.
The Lotion has a very smooth and light consistency. One pump is more than enough for face, neck and décolletage.
For the first few days after application my skin was a bit red and felt dry but after 4-5 days I noticed my skin started to adjust. Within couple if weeks my skin felt smoother and red bumps were smaller. After full 28 days of using Soothing Day Lotion my skin feels calmer, stronger and very smooth. I haven't had results like that when using other natural or drugstore products.
Cleansing Cream is also a very beautiful product to use and I really loved Facial Toner. Dr Hauschka products feel very luxurious, and the fact that they are natural is a big bonus. I read about Dr. Hauschka and I'm very impressed with company's philosophy and their approach to skincare.

Gentle nature
“I was very excited to try the range of Dr. Hauschka products in general on account to the brand’s emphasis on ethical, non-comedogenic ingredients that naturally help the skin. In particular, the new Soothing Day Lotion was a good moisturiser. It did not feel oily but provided a good level of moisture especially when going into the colder months. In the second week of trying the product, my skin did change a little with a few bumps and uneven texture, but this cleared after two weeks. Compared to the beginning of the trial, I found my skin was dry and got progressively dryer throughout the day despite applying face cream in the morning. The combination of the Toner and Day Lotion really improved the feeling of my skin throughout the day, without leaving it oily or uncomfortable. Despite my skin being sensitive to new products, the gentle nature of these products resulted in very little reactions from the skin. Additionally, the smell and texture of the products were incredibly beautiful to experience in the morning, leaving me refreshed and confident for the day. Beyond this trial, I will continue to use the Day Lotion and Toner each morning as my complete morning routine and would recommend this regime and products to those who have dry, sensitive skin.”

Fresh, clean & oiliness reduced
“During the time of the product trial, I strictly followed Dr. Hauschka Morning and Evening Skin Care Ritual to get the best results of the following products: Cleansing Cream, Clarifying Toner, and NEW Balancing Day Lotion. I have combination skin where my T-zone is oily and my cheeks are dry.
My first week of using the aforementioned products worked well with my skin: it felt fresh, clean, and my oiliness was reduced.
The Lotion, in combination with the Toner, was terrific especially for the summer months. The combination of Toner and Lotion was easily absorbed into my skin. My skin did not produce so much oil, especially on my T-zone areas. Throughout the 28 days of trial, I occasionally still had to use a richer moisturiser (such as the Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream) on my alar crease as it tends to become dry and cracked.
Overall, the trial products worked well with my skin in conjunction with other products (e.g. Rose Day Cream) to tailor the ever-changing needs of my combination skin. I highly recommend these products to people with combination skin like mine.”
