MORNING SKIN CARE RITUAL: Cleansing Cream, Facial Toner and either Revitalising Day Lotion or Apricot Day Cream.
Revitalising Day Lotion is a light moisturiser which helps activate sebaceous glands to balance your skin against dryness, while it also revives pale, pallid, dry or dehydrated skin. Formulated with apricot, provitamin A rich wild carrot extract and St. John’s wort to enliven for a supple and fresh complexion.
Apricot Day Cream is a richer formulation than Revitalising Day Lotion. It contains vitamins and unsaturated fatty acids from apricot kernel oil revitalise a dry, dehydrated, dull complexion. Essential fatty acids and vitamins from avocado oil help the skin to retain moisture and protect it from dryness. Fermented grain extract and minerals supports your skin’s microbiome - for a healthy, radiant complexion. Texture is creamy, with superb spreadability and absorbs rapidly. Promotes a plump, fresh complexion and strengthens the skin’s resilience. Vegan. Not gluten free due to fermented extract of rye and wheat.
EVENING SKIN CARE RITUAL: Cleansing Balm for light make-up or Soothing Cleansing Milk with medium to heavy make-up. If you don’t use make-up cleanse with your Cleansing Cream. We recommend a double cleanse if you use make-up, once to remove the make-up, dirt and dust your skin picks up during the day and a secondary cleanse to cleanse your skin, use either Cleansing Cream or Cleansing Balm for your second cleanse. Follow with Facial Toner and Night Serum.
For a maturing skin use Regenerating Serum 40+ or Regenerating Intensive Night Serum 50-55+ instead.
Gentle, effective cleansing and a commitment to daily skin care rituals are the first steps towards healthy and radiant skin.
1. We recommend Cleansing Cream, which is not a make-up remover, but it is a deep cleanser which is ideal in the morning, because overnight your skin has been busy as an elimination organ, that’s why you often wake up to a new pimple, and skin also does its regeneration work overnight. Watch the Cleansing Cream application video because you use it a bit differently than what you may be used to.
Cleansing Cream Application: Mix around 1-2cm with water to make a creamy emulsion between the palms of your hands. Then ‘press and roll’ it onto your skin, moving from centre to outwards, in the direction of your lymph and repeat 2-3 times. This technique creates a suction type effect and almond meal is adept at binding to sebum and impurities.
2. Our Facial Toner is used by closing your eyes and misting directly onto your skin, like a refreshing spritz of morning dew with a comforting herbal aroma. It contains witch hazel and anthyllis.
3. We recommendeither Revitalising Day Lotion or if you need a more rich formulation then Apricot Day Cream. Place around a pump or two of the Day Lotion or a pea size of the Day Cream into the palm of your hand, warm it between both palms and then apply to your skin, which is still moist from Facial Toner.
TIPS:
You may find either Revitalising Day Lotion suits your skin in the warmer months, but need the more rich Apricot Day Cream in the cooler months.
If you get an occasional pimple then Coverstick is your must-have pimple product. Apply as soon as you see a pimple and reapply regularly.
We highly recommend you mix a little Translucent Bronzing Tint with either your Revitalising Day Lotion or Apricot Day Cream. This helps to add warmth to a pale skin.
If you use makeup, use a clean beauty Foundation.
Extra Care: We highly recommend once a week a Clarifying Steam Bath in your hand hot basin water with Organic Cotton Compress Cloth to soften pores, followed by Clarifying Clay Mask to further deep cleanse, remove impurities and provide gentle exfoliation. Once dry the Clay Mask is removed efficiently by re-moistening and wiping away with Cleansing Sponge. Ideally follow-up with Hydrating Mask to really give your skin a nourishing boost. Revitalising Mask which benefits all skin conditions may also be used.
