Moor Lavender Calming Bath Essence

This finely aligned product with horse chestnut and horsetail extracts is based on a moor (peat) extract prepared using a special rhythmic procedure. Moor has a grounding energy about it, to help still a busy mind, while Lavender has relaxation qualities. When combined with warm water, it offers a sense of enveloping protection. Almond and avocado oil gently moisturise your skin.
Tip: Prepared as a hot neck compress, Moor Lavender Calming Bath Essence is ideal for helping ease shoulder tension.
Refreshes and cleanses
With carefully selected essential oils, Sage Purifying Bath Essence offers warmth and keeps out the cold – a real blessing in the winter months. It also refreshes after sport and physical exercise and has a deodorising effect. Sage foot baths revive tired, swollen feet. Used regularly, they regulate feet inclined to perspire and help make the skin soft and smooth. Compressing and hydrating with Sage Purifying Bath Essence also helps care for an oily or blemished skin.
Tips:
a) When used regularly, sage foot baths help reduce hardened skin, leaving your feet beautifully soft.
b) Deodorising Foot Cream supports Sage Bath’s sweat regulating effect. For extremely sweaty feet, we also recommend using Silk Body Powder.
c) Pour a little Sage Purifying Bath Essence in a bowl and top with very hot water for room fragrance.

If you’ve ever walked through a pine forest you will have noticed negative thoughts melt away to be replaced with a sense of peace and clarity. The intensely relaxing and revitalising Norwegian Spruce supports your circulation, helps to relieve muscle tension and has a calming, nerve-strengthening effect. Spruce Bath Essence helps to clear airways and aids deep breathing, so it’s also a perfect choice if you or the kids have a cold. Jojoba oil nourishes and moisturises your skin.
Tips:
a) Use a little in your basin water for compressing and hydrating your facial skin prior to cleansing.
b) Spruce Bath Essence has such an uplifting aroma it may also be used for home or office, pour a little into a bowl and add hot water for the aroma to disperse. Perfect aroma for Christmas time too!
Bath Essence Usage
Add 1-3 capfuls of Bath Essence into the stream of running water as the bathtub fills. For foot baths,add 1-2 caps of Sage Bath to comfortably hot (about 40°C) water. Ideally, soak feet twice a week for 10 to 15 minutes each time. Pour only a little in your basin for hydrating and compressing your skin prior to cleansing, or for a shoulder and neck compress when you’re feeling stressed. Also may be used as a room fragrance. Pour a little Bath Essence into a small bowl, then pour in very hot water, allowing the fragrance to dissipate.
Bath Essences - Hydrating & Compressing
An aromatic compress to relax and revive.
We recommend hydrating and compressing your face prior to cleansing. This relaxes the skin and softens pores to achieve deep cleansing. The skin’s own functions are also stimulated. A cool compress applied to the skin after cleansing contracts a minute muscle at the hair follicle helping to expel any remaining impurities, leaving you with a clearer, softer skin. Make compress and hydration part of your daily skin care rituals.

The Dr. Hauschka Organic Cotton Compress is large, please don’t cut it, as the many layers once folded help to retain warmth.
Fold the compress in half and half again.
Both folds to be lengthwise, not square.
Place folded Compress into the basin of Bath Essence infused water.
Squeeze excess water from the Compress.
Place firstly under the chin, then wrap the face and press.
Repeat twice, now your skin is prepared for using Cleansing Cream or Soothing Cleansing Milk.
After Cleansing splash your skin with cold water, or use a cold water compress. This technique causes a minute muscle next to hair follicles to contract, ensuring any remaining dirt or impurities are washed away. Your skin will feel incredibly soft as well.
